The Spirit of GOTR: Moving Forward

So, I'm new at this. Seems like I have been saying that a lot in the almost 2 years I have had the privilege to be the director of KCGOTR. Since I accepted the position in October of 2009 there have many new and exciting things to learn about, try for the first time (and then try again) and lots of late nights. So tonight I am trying to blog, and, being a Girl on the Run, I am empowered to do so...even if it is an awkward. It's all about moving forward.
I don't know if I will have anything interesting to say, but, hopefully you will. I want to have this be a place where we can encourage each other, exchange ideas and ask each other for help and ideas. I hope this is a place where the collective wisdom of our coaches and other volunteers will be available.

As we head into our first Fall season, I invite you to join me in celebrating and supporting our girls and our growth.  Let's live the model of GOTR together!
